Reading Festival 2026 is scheduled to take place from 27 to 30 August 2026 at Richfield Avenue in Reading. Weekend Early Entry ticket holders will be able to access the campsites from 26 August.

The festival has revealed a selection of artists set to appear at Reading Festival 2026.
Among those announced are Charli XCX, Chase & Status Live, Dave, Florence + The Machine, Fontaines D.C., Raye, sombr, Role Model, Skepta, Kneecap, Geese, Skye Newman, Josh Baker, Kettama, Chris Stussy, Jade, Adéla and Keo.

Festival Dates And Campsite Access
The campsites open on the evening of 26 August 2026 for Weekend Early Entry ticket holders. Weekend ticket holders can enter from the morning of 27 August 2026.
The campsite remains open throughout the festival and closes at midday on 31 August 2026.
Attendees leaving and returning after 8pm on Sunday evening are advised to obtain a hand stamp when exiting in order to re-enter later.
Travel To Reading Festival
Reading train station is located approximately a 15 to 20-minute walk from the festival site. The station is served by routes from across the country, including services from London Paddington.
Festival organisers advise visitors to allow additional time when travelling by train, particularly when departing after festival activities, as services can become very busy.
Attendees are also reminded to travel with a valid ticket when using rail services.
Accessibility Facilities
Reading Festival provides a range of accessibility facilities for eligible attendees.
There is no separate accessibility ticket category. Visitors must first purchase a standard festival ticket before applying for accessible facilities. Essential Companion tickets are allocated through the application process and do not need to be purchased separately.
The festival offers accessibility support that includes dedicated entrance lanes, an accessibility information hub, a sensory calm space, accessible campsite facilities and accessible serving areas at bars and merchandise stalls.
Additional provisions include medical support, refrigerated medication storage and accessible transport services around the site.

Food for personal consumption may be brought into the arena. Visitors are permitted to bring sealed water bottles under 500ml as well as empty reusable plastic or metal bottles of any size.
Free drinking water points are available throughout the arena.
Day ticket holders cannot re-enter the arena once they leave. Weekend ticket holders are permitted to leave and re-enter both the arena and campsites.
Volunteer Opportunities
Reading Festival works with volunteer programmes that allow participants to support the event while gaining experience and meeting other volunteers.
Volunteers receive festival entry and access to a range of facilities while working scheduled shifts during the event.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old by the time they arrive on site and must be available for their allocated shifts.
