The International Jousting Tournament 2026 will take place at the Royal Armouries Museum from Friday 3 April to Monday 6 April. Across four days, the museum’s jousting arena will host a series of authentic medieval tournament performances featuring knights from Poland, Portugal, and the United Kingdom.

Visitors can expect the sound of cheering crowds and the clash of lances on armour as competitors battle in the arena during this historic-style event.

Daily Tournament Shows

There will be two tournament shows each day, beginning at 11 am and 2 pm. The performances will feature knights and horses alongside ceremonial pageantry and live entertainment inspired by the medieval period.

The event programme will also include music, medieval-themed food, talks, combat demonstrations, and interactive activities for visitors to try.

The Royal Armouries Museum describes the tournament as a spectacular family day out with entertainment throughout the event.

Tournament Ticket Information

Tournament tickets include admission to the Royal Armouries Museum. Prices are charged per person, and everyone over the age of three requires a ticket.

Silver tickets are priced at £12.50 and provide a clear view of the central tilt rail where the knights compete. This seating area includes tiered concrete steps with wooden seating.

Wheelchair user tickets are priced at £5. Each performance includes four spaces for wheelchair or motorised scooter users, together with one complimentary companion seat.
